The Audition Process
Grace Church is accepting all auditions via video submissions. Thank you for showing interest in being a part of what God is doing here at Grace! We look forward to seeing your audition videos!
Our team will review your audition video and email you back with your next steps. If you play multiple instruments and want to audition for them all, we ask that you submit videos for each. This includes vocalists who also play instruments.
Preparing For Your Audition
First, make sure to read Band Basics.
Drums, Bass & Guitar
Play “Battle Belongs.” And play a 1 minute clip of a song of your choice.
Keys
Play “What He’s Done.” And play a 1 minute clip of a song of your choice.
Male Vocalist
Sing lead vocal on “Battle Belongs” and background vocal on “What He’s Done.” And sing a verse and chorus of a song of your choice a cappella.
Female Vocalist
Sing lead vocal on “What He’s Done” and background vocal on “Battle Belongs.” Sing a verse and chorus of a song of your choice a cappella.
Optional
Submit any videos of your live performances. Please send these links as well.
Creating Your Video
1. Download
Download the Audition-Resources and follow the instructions for your instrument using the “Video Auditions How To” document.
2. Upload
Upload your video via YouTube. Under privacy settings, select “Unlisted” and title with “Your Name-Grace Church Worship Audition”
3. Submit
Submit your audition by filling out the Worship Auditions Form. Include the YouTube link to your video on the form.
